(Way to go El!)Hope to see a flock of us at the 10/20/01 homecoming memorial service - we lost the best that passed through the halls of RP, let us honor them, our hard working American heros - sucesses, every one of them. As for me, after RP I went to Eisenhower Interstate - I've been on the road ever since. I worked my way up to (get this Mr. Domino, Bookout & Shopshire) Radiological Engineer in the commercial Nuclear Industry. Remember those days when Mr. Atomic would visit the school and make Doreen Rutledge's hair stand on end with a Van DeGraff generator? Who knew I'd take up the atomic torch - I was supposed to be on broadway.(For those of you not in the know I was a D- student in math & science and full time stage hound. Now, doesn't that make you feel safe from the hazards of nuclear energy?) My goal is to graduate from Eisenhower someday and get off the road. Hey, Mr. Cortale wailed on me too - I deserved it - I drilled a hole in my spelling book with a pen and wrote a nasty item about Mrs. Bennett on the cover. (I'm sorry Mrs. Bennett - I really did like you.) Pop me a line - that's my e-mail address. Love to hear from anyone - Billy Keane (Vicki too), Mr. Russo (still love ya), Mr. Kepko (love ya too), Fran Nowaski (Franny - I checked my calendar, we still share the same birthday!), Mickey Hoffman (yo Mickey - get hold of Eddie Metcalf before 10/20!), any of the Szymanski's (you guys were the best to me), Ann Bassi (I still have our prom picture). Oh, for those of us attending the 10/20/01 homecoming, please don't dress like John Schmidt. (Sorry John - I had to.) Hi Daria - see ya on the 20th! Ellen says she's bringing Dave Pelligrino and Joe Faraguna says he's coming up from FL. Mike will have a fair contingent of 75er's for him on the 20th. My brother Frank Pisano graduated in 85'. I was the "last of the mohicans" if you will. I'm married and live in Kings Park . No children yet. My wife is a Kindergarten teacher and I'm a custodian for Commack schools. I'm in the midst of taking classes to pursue my passion for writing and comedy that I cannot ignore. If I had it my way I'd love to be the next Frost or Stephen King, maybe even George Carlin. Looking back on my High school life was one big smile! I never blinked, afraid I would lose all the memories. To all of those who don't go to their reunions I say it's a shame because it's not about "Bragging Rights." It's about laughter and stories. It's about driving around in your hometown and thinking,"I wish everyone was here again," as you pass the High School or "The Stores" and "The Bowling Alley." How bout' "Tides Beach Parties?" lol. I can remember the Talent Shows RP used to put on when my sis graduated! Or the HS band playing "Tusk!" Hope to hear from some Alumni's. Take Care of Yourselves.

I was a member for 5 years and loved every second of it. (even when Hertling called us mediocre & i didn't even know what the word meant back then) anyway- the songs i remember most are "In the Mood", "Eye of the Tiger", "Ain't got Nobody" and of course "Rocky". Hofstra was the best and every year I would lose my voice. 7th game of the WS in '86 was awesome too- just wish it was the Yanks winning and not the Mets....but we got our revenge. One day i heard the band practicing in the parking lot and had to walk over. Mr. Texiera was leading the group. Everyone looked so young and I felt so old. I had then moved to Selden, and then Virginia a couple years later. I graduated in the class of 2001 at Heritage High School in Newport News, Virginia. I had always felt like there was something missing. All of my friends had known each other since Kindergarten and I felt like the out cast. Everyone I knew since I was a child was in Rocky Point. Granted I can't remember everyone but, the few people who still really stand out in my mind are Laura Niver, Denise Iverson, Tom Sweeney, Nicole DeVito, Crystal Duffy, Dana Larson, Erin Lovett, Sean Scally, Tim Wright. I don't remember exactly who each of you are but for some reason I still remember your names. I do know that Laura was my best friend and I do still talk to her from time to time. I had also ran into Denise at Wal-Mart in Middle Island a few years ago. Well, if anyone remembers me please e-mail me. I'm currently located at Fort Huachuca in Arizona. That's right, I'm in the army now.

He and I went to Hofstra University together and I know he lived in Nyack with his wife Vera for awhile in the eighties. I don't know what has become of them since 1988. Any info let me know.
