The Rocky Point Friends of Music is an organization, which was established to support and encourage all students enrolled in Grades K-12 and all musical groups: Chorus, Orchestra and Band.

The Rocky Point Friends of Music raises funds during the school year through sales of refreshments at student performances, concerts and Homecoming. However, your membership in our booster club is needed to help us to continue our efforts. In addition to your membership dollars, we desperately need parents of students currently enrolled in the JFC, JAE, Middle School and Sr. High Schools to become active members of the organization in order to ensure it’s perpetuation. Most of our organizations members have children in the music program in the various schools, while some have children who have already graduated. While we are extremely grateful to these selfless volunteers for their hard work and dedication, we cannot expect them to help us indefinitely. The Friends of Music need to have more parents, whose children are currently in school music programs, involved in our efforts. We encourage you to join us in support of your children. Please complete the attached membership form and either mail it or have your child return it in an envelope to his/her music teacher.

For information about volunteering, please call 744-1600 and leave a message for the Friends of Music. While meetings are listed on the school calendar, they are subject to change and we urge you to visit the school website at rockypointschools.org and link onto the Friends of Music for updates. Currently, we hold meetings on the second Monday of every month at the High School.
