Welcome to SERC (Special Education Resource Committee) of the Rocky Point PTA. We are a committee of the PTA established to serve children with disabilities and their families. We will work to develop a positive and knowledgeable partnership between families of children with disabilities and the professionals who serve them.

Our goal is to provide guest speakers, networking opportunities, and information at meetings held throughout the school year. Our meetings will take place along with the regularly scheduled PTA meetings. The days when a guest speaker is booked we will begin at 7:30 p.m when the PTA has finished their usual business. On days when there are no guest speakers we can take the time to discuss concerns, share ideas, and provide each other with the tools and knowledge we need to be effective advocates for our children.

SERC is open to everyone. We encourage parents, teachers, therapists and administrators to participate. Lets work together to ensure that all of our children reach their full potential.
