There are links for young and old, students and teachers, links for those interested in sports, weather, directions, local events, train schedules, tides, fishing and other local community links such as movies, plays, and news, etc. Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated. There are many additional sites that have been created and/or maintained by Susan Wilson Web. Some of these sites are the Quogue Library, Richard Gazzola Teacher Center of Yonkers, Dr. Richard Bernato's Active Learning Consultants Web site, Adventures Promotion, Automatetech.com, and educational courseware. www.rockypointpta.org Rocky Point Parent-Teachers Association September 1999 This site was developed to help parents, teachers, and administrators in the Rocky Point School District access valuable educational links. There are links to homework help, the AskEric database, National PTA, Joseph Edgar School, Frank J. Carasiti School, Middle School, High School, local organizations, Board of Education meeting dates and times, PTA meetings dates and times, photos, legislative links, upcoming events, and our school calendar. Check this site often for updates and exciting upcoming events. www.rockypointcivic.org The Rocky Point Civic Association March 2000 The Rocky Point Civic Organization is one of only a few civic organizations in this area to have a web site. They are certainly pioneers in the civic cyber world. The RP Civic Association has developed a site that is extremely patriotic in appearance, yet very useful in its effort to disseminate important information to its community. The site contains a COMPLETE listing of all our local organizations and their meeting times and dates, e-mail addresses and phone numbers linking you directly to our elected officials (including George W. Bush and Senator Hillary Clinton!), an application to join, the associations' constitution and by-laws, current photos of important community events, and much more! The site will encourage you to stand up and salute our community. www.rpalumni.org Rocky Point Alumni Foundation, Inc. May 2000 The latest and greatest addition to the Rocky Point WebRing is the newly-founded Rocky Point Alumni Foundation, Inc. Rocky Point Alumni can now link up with their alma mater and reestablish old ties. In addition, alumni are encouraged to make tax-free donations to their former school district. This site is not only for the alumni, but community members, their friends and future alumni. The site is currently being developed and is certain to be a wonderful addition to this Rocky Point WebRing. www.rockypointschools.org StopBroadwater.org This web site is intended to alert, inform and protect our Long Island communities that are now facing the imminent peril of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) proliferation, which would have a disastrous impact on our residential communities if we just sit idly by.
